14th-16th listed château on 16ha of park, wood and pond

Close to Vitré, proud 14th-16th century castle listed as a Historic Monument with its outbuildings, in the middle of 16ha of parkland, woods and pond. In a hilly countryside and without nuisance, the site is wooded, relaxing and close to a charming village. Its main avenue with a moat and gate, its slender towers and its romantic ruins give it the elegance and character that the historical figures who stayed there loved. Leaning on the vestiges of its medieval history, the main building   houses vast rooms with remarkable Renaissance decorations: French beams, painted decorations, monumental fireplaces, doors and original ironwork. A large oak staircase and two granite spiral staircases serve the floors. They combine the great classic rooms with the medieval parts in an atmosphere where the imagination is guided by the places and its potential. The castle offers approximately 1200m² developed on 3 levels. The main outbuilding has beautiful architecture and character. It offers additional multiple potential. A dovecote stands pleasantly between the south facade and the 8ha pond.
